    Objective: To invent a means of displaying large banners as neatly as possible (without sags, tears, etc.) while enabling fairly simple advertising updates.

  • Raid System 35

    Advertiser: S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc., Racine, WI
    Producer: Creative Displays, Chicago
    Objective: To develop a shelf system that fits many different trade and retail store sizes. The display, which is molded in translucent or opaque colors, has been weight-tested to 4,000 lbs. and can be shipped via UPS.

  • Glenlivet 1990 British Open

    Advertiser: The House of Seagram, New York
    Producer: Beeco Mfg. Co., Chicago
    Objective: To link Glenlivet Scotch with 1990 British Open played at St. Andrews Golf Course. By gold etching the names of all past winners around the litho insert of the club house and heading the mirror "The Glenlivet," the company created a center of attraction for outlets and country clubs' 19th hole lounges.

  • GE Pro 2000 Neon Board

    Objective: To publicize in-store promotions at distributors of GE lighting products. The writing surface of the edge-lit, fluorescent blackboard is acrylic so that water soluble crayons, in five colors, can be used to create messages.

  • Pontiac Showroom Display

    Objective: To create a retail environment that reflected the cars' exciting image in the dealership facilities. The program needed to (1) complement the product line's high quality, and (2) meet consumers' desire for informative surroundings.
