A display device for watches, jewelry, lighters, tape cassettes or other valuable items is comprisedof a number of removable frames attached to one another and usually enclosed in an outer frame. A box containing the item is contained in each frame, preventing the box from being withdrawn forwardly. A locking device on the outer frame prevents rearward withdrawal.

A display assembly of a stack of paper coupons includes a clip retaining the coupons in assembled relation but disconnected one from another, permitting ready removal of individual coupons from the top of the stack. This eliminates the need for adhesively binding or otherwise securing the coupons in stacked form.
