A customer convenience center, also known as a merchandise display stand, has a metal base frame on legs, casters or a combination thereof. Perforated hardboard panels rest on the frame, with the panels held in place by metal uprights which are retained by a top frame enclosing the uprights. A planar top covers the top frame. If desired, shelf bracket standards may be attached to the perforated hardboard panels for support of shelf brackets and shelves.
