    Comments: Designed to reinforce Busch's relationship with NASCAR, this sign is an exact replica of a Chevy auto hood, except that it is made of co-extruded styrene to keep manufacturing and distribution costs low. The NASCAR and Busch logos appeal to their targeted retail environment of sports bars and arenas.

It also needed to reinforce the Bud brands sponsorship of NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. The standee gave A-B the ability to build large displays at retail.

    This piece went through several design competitions and re-works. It has a lot of smaller separate inflated pieces (chair, wheels, side bumpers, back bumper, body) that make up the whole piece. It can be hung by the hooks or can be placed on top of a display. Since the hockey season is so long (8 months), it was designed to be hung or placed in the beer aisle for many months.

  • Bud Light Wayne Gretzky Standee

    Anheuser-Busch Inc., St. Louis, has signed a multi-year agreement with National Hockey League Hall of Fame inductee Wayne Gretzky to serve as spokesman for the company's Bud Light brand, the official beer of the NHL. The program includes a variety of on- and off-premise P-O-P materials promoting Gretzky and the beer. One of the main pieces in the promotion is a 72-inch by 32-inch standee that shows Gretzky standing next to a hockey net filled with pucks. In addition, there are table tents, banners, imprintable banners touting special promotions and imprintable posters.
