   The several cantilevered shelves of this modular merchandise display device rest on a pedestal base. The ends of the shelves are square-shaped and designed to abut the next adjacent shelf. Thus, one fits atop the next to form a supporting column. The shelf units can be arranged in aligned, staggered, or horizontally parallel relationships, or in a stair step arrangement.

   An automatic, package positioning display rack is adapted to stack uniformly-sized packages in one or more compartments. Individual compartments slope downward from back to front causing the packages to slide forward whenever a gap is created by removal of one or more packages from the rack. A slidable stacker is provided which, bearing weight against the rearmost package, ensures this action.
