Walmart is leveraging the nostalgia of Blockbuster and Hollywood Video as it expands its Netflix Hub digital storefront into more than 2,400 stores. Launched on Oct. 27,  the new physical experience offers a licensed product assortment and low-price Netflix streaming gift card, exclusively at the mass merchant.

Walmart shoppers can explore music, apparel, collectibles, games and seasonal items inspired by popular Netflix shows and films, including 1980s-themed science-fiction series "Stranger Things," South Korean survival drama series "Squid Game," fantasy series "The Witcher" and murder mystery film "Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery."

Walmart is also offering a new low-price Netflix streaming gift card, giving shoppers the opportunity to stream trending favorites via the streaming platform without needing a credit or debit card.

The Hub also offers curated “Concession Kits,” from popcorn and confectionary to collectible cups, to enhance shoppers’ “couch-centric viewing experience” at home, according to a company media release.

Other exclusive product offerings include licensed products from toy brands such as Funko, greeting cards, wall art and an advent calendar for the holidays.

New products and exclusive experiences will drop seasonally to keep pace with new show and film debuts year-round.

In October 2021, Walmart debuted the Netflix Hub online in a move to establish the retailer as the Netflix destination for family entertainment experiences.
