Comments: The display challenge here was in the weight of the products (250 pounds of ceramic molded logs) and the need to showcase them within a simulated fireplace setting. A rack constructed in powder-coated sheet metal and square steel tubing was developed.

Spring Industries' Wamsutta, the Charlotte, N.C.-based home textiles marketer, recently partnered with United Airlines to offer department store customers an airfare discount.
   The promotion, which ran through April, was designed exclusively for department store chains including Federated, May Co., Bloomingdale's and Sterns by Einson Freeman Inc., Paramus, N.J. In-store point-of-purchase materials grabbed shoppers' attention around the bedding displays in these stores touting the offer.
