  • Garmin GPS Displays

"Garmin has attacked its potential retail customers by creating different units for the warehouse club shopper and the office supply customer. The warehouse unit (above, right) shows the two versions of the GPS product on separate corrugated and particleboard pallets, but due to store security requirements, the shopper selects an oversized card that is redeemed at checkout for the actual item.

  • Magellan GPS Floorstand

"Named after the famous explorer, these Magellan GPS units will help even modern-day adventurers find their next motel or favorite watering hole. Each of the four handheld units is fully available to touch and feel, and each clearly details all of the individual features below the eye-catching graphic panel. The permanent particleboard, metal and glass fixture also has an audio/visual capability for further details once the shopper presses the impossible-to-miss red button. It worked perfectly.

  • Mio GPS Floorstand

"One of the more recent entries into the GPS market, this Mio corrugated unit was developed for use in office supply outlets where its compact size is a major plus. The two products are featured for shoppers to touch and feel on the main front panel, just above the primary feature/benefits statements. Additionally, there is an attached product card with far greater details about each unit and exactly what they'll do; they even added a fly-sheet free offer of an update for 2009 taped to the header.
