Valassis to Acquire MaxPointValassis, Livonia, Michigan, reached an agreement through parent company Harland Clarke Holdings to acquire MaxPoint, a Raleigh, North Carolina-based digital marketing technology company. Consumers shop for eligible items at participating grocery stores, scan a bar code at checkout and receive instant savings.Toys “R” Us Canada Picks Cineplex Digital MediaToys “R” Us Canada selected Toronto-based Cineplex Digital Media to install an in-store digital signage and kiosk network for a new Toys “R” Us concept store in Langley, British Columbia. The retailer will deploy an endless aisle solution where consumers can use the kiosks to browse comprehensive information on not only in-stock items, but the brand’s entire offering for in-store purchase or home delivery. The installation includes a large feature wall with 2x2 55-inch LCD screens, six 18.5-inch digital endcaps and four POS integrated kiosks. Cineplex Digital Media will lead all content creation for the kiosks, and provide content management for the digital endcaps and feature wall signage.
