"What's big, bright, holds a ton of small, difficult-to-display items and sits in the middle of a major office supply store? I don't know what Staples calls it, but I call it terrific merchandising. They are inviting shoppers to buy various Staples clips, push pins and binder clips on a mix-and-match basis, and are breaking new ground by pricing them by the size of the tub used to hold them. From its eye-catching colors to the "buy by the tub" concept, this is innovation."
