On May 5, a Costco in East Peoria, IL, hosted a "sensory-friendly" shopping event for people sensitive to bright lights and sound, particularly those who fall on the autism spectrum.
Costco opened 117 stores one hour early on March 24 to let active U.S. military members, veterans and their families attend what most stores called “Military Hour” or “Hero Hour.”
